Building a custom home or undertaking a major renovation involves a series of important decisions long before construction begins. Our building process is designed to provide clarity at each stage, from early planning and pre-construction support through to on-site delivery and handover. By working closely with clients and design teams, we help manage complexity, protect design intent, and ensure each project is delivered with care, accuracy, and clear communication throughout.

Our Project Process

We invest heavily in our team and the systems that support our work behind the scenes, allowing us to deliver projects with consistency, care, and control. Our structured building process is designed to support architectural homes and major renovations, providing a clear framework that guides each project from early planning through to construction and handover.

  • The Build Discovery Session is an initial conversation designed to understand your project, where you’re at in the process, and what you’re aiming to achieve. This session can take place on site or online and provides an opportunity to discuss your plans, design goals, site considerations, and indicative budget range.

    It also allows us to provide early guidance, flag key considerations, and outline suitable next steps - whether that’s pre-construction support, further planning, or preparing to move toward construction.

  • For clients still in the planning phase, our tailored pre-construction packages provide early builder involvement and guidance. Whether you’re at the very beginning or partway through design and approvals, we can assist with design and constructability input, cost planning and preliminary budgeting, and coordination of town planning and building permits to help establish a clear path forward.

  • Once the project is ready to move into construction, we prepare your Building Contract and take the time to guide you through each section. This ensures scope, inclusions, timelines, and responsibilities are clearly understood before proceeding.

  • Before construction begins, we finalise all documentation and site preparation requirements. This includes confirming approvals, compliance certificates, construction drawings, insurances, and site setup to ensure everything is in place for a smooth start on site.

  • Throughout construction, we manage the build schedule, budget, inspections, and coordination of all trades. We work closely with your architect and designer, provide regular updates, and maintain a calm, professional presence on site to ensure quality and clarity at every stage.

  • Once construction is complete, we finalise all certifications and conduct a detailed onsite handover with you. This final walkthrough ensures every detail is complete and documented before you move into your new home.
